A New Knit! Comfort Fade Cardigan

I've had my eye on this pattern since its release. It just looked so cozy and wonderful. When my frequent buyer card at Black Mountain Yarn Shop filled up, I knew I wanted to use it on this!

Yarn: Autumn and Indigo in Jaded, Seneca, Old Winter, Heron, Cadet, and Bleached Aqua


If I ever made another one of these, I'd probably choose 4 colors instead of 6. (I thought I bought 5 colors originally, but 2 were different colors that looked realllly similar.) My choice of 6 colors messed up my sleeve and collar fades a little bit.

I love how Black Mountain Yarn Shop organizes some of their yarn into little fade cubbies to make it super easy to create a fade. My fade had some stripey parts that weren't exactly a smooth fade, but I kinda like it more!
